Job Title : Pharmacy Manager
Reports To : VP, Clinical Services & Analytics Supervises : Pharmacy Staff
Summary
Responsible for the management, oversight and operations of all aspects within the pharmacy.
Schedule
Monday - Friday (8a -5p)
Essential Responsibilities
- Ensure staffing optimization positively impacts quality of care and patient experience
- Enforce pharmacy policies and procedures
- Perform pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management
- Accountable for safe medication storage, diversion monitoring and other pharmacy inventory activities
- Resolve patient complaints and answer questions to ensure a positive patient experience
- Assist Human Resources with talent management life cycle including recruiting, onboarding, mentoring / developing, engagement, training, retention, performance management and succession planning
- Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal laws and regulations
- Ensure compliance with all applicable TJC standards and elements of performance (EPs)
