Responsibilities included, but not limited to:
- Greet patients in a welcoming environment
- Schedule/confirm patient appointments
- Verify patient insurance coverage, and follow up on benefits/authorizations
- Place outbound calls to new and former patients for building business and scheduling follow-up hearing tests and consultations
- Identify and assess patients; needs to achieve satisfaction
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
- Handle patient complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
- Keep records of patients interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
- Follow communications procedures, guidelines and policies
- Take the extra mile to engage patients
- Input information into PMS (patient management system)
- Clean and maintain equipment and instruments
- Effectively manage inventory
Requirements:
- Must have customer service and retail experience
- Track record of over-achieving quota
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Must be organized
