Outside Sales Rep

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and driving sales growth within your designated territory. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or general construction sales and a passion for delivering exceptional results and being compensated accordingly

Duties

• Develop and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients to drive business growth, predominantly through door to door and telephone sales
• Identify new sales opportunities through door to door, networking, cold calling, and referrals.
• ​Collecting basic customer information, a description of the work required, and setting expectations for next steps
• Negotiate sales after estimates are confirmed and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase revenue.
• Collaborate with the sales management team to develop effective sales strategies.
• Provide ongoing account management to ensure client needs are met and foster long-term relationships.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new business development opportunities.

Skills

• Proven experience in door to door and cold calling sales with a strong understanding of the sales process.
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence Home and business owners.
• Strong upselling techniques that enhance customer experience while driving revenue.
• Demonstrated success in business development and account management.
• Experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to effectively manage territory sales and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building lasting relationships.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas clearly.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
