Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and energetic Marketing Specialist who is proficient in business development, social media management, & video editing. The ideal candidate will be organized and relentless in pursuing new business opportunities while achieving the marketing team's goals. This role involves coordinating with team members on Realtors, Lenders, & Business Owners to contact. Also researching trending topics will lead you to create engaging content. Last but not least.... We will need you to assist us in developing strong relationships with referral partners, and representing the company at various events.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Management:
- Manage posting categories and post content across different social media platforms.
- Develop creative ideas for social media content in collaboration with industry trends and research tools like ChatGPT.
- Video Production & Editing:
- Edit and produce high-quality videos for various social media platforms.
- Coordinate with company owners and employees to participate in video content.
- Utilize advanced camera equipment to enhance video quality (if possible).
- Business Development:
- Research and identify potential referral partners.
- Collect and organize referral partner data.
- Make calls and establish relationships with new and existing referral partners.
- Develop and implement strategies to chase new business opportunities.
- Marketing Strategy & Execution:
- Create and sequence POP (Point of Purchase) materials using a combination of mail, phone calls, and in-person visits.
- Develop timelines and schedules for marketing campaigns and video production.
- Collaborate with web developers to enhance the company’s online presence (preferred).
- Event Representation:
- Attend industry events, networking functions, and company-hosted events to represent [Your Company Name].
- Engage with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders to promote the company’s services.
- Gather insights and feedback from events to inform future marketing strategies.
- Research & Analysis:
- Stay updated with the latest trends and relevant topics in the insurance industry.
- Conduct research using industry websites and AI tools to generate relevant content ideas.
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain organized records of referral partners and marketing activities.
- Track and report on marketing metrics to ensure goals are met.
- Insurance Knowledge:
- Learn the basics of insurance personal lines to effectively communicate and market our services.
Requirements
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. ( Not Required)
- Proven experience in marketing, preferably within the insurance industry.
- Proficiency in video editing
- Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in using social media platforms and scheduling tools.
- Comfortable making phone calls and building relationships over the phone.
- Confident and professional demeanor for representing the company at events.
