Job Description
A busy and professional family is seeking a dedicated Full-time Nanny to provide attentive care for their infant and toddler. The role involves supporting the mother as she transitions back to work, ensuring she has quality time with her children while maintaining a structured and nurturing environment. The nanny will be responsible for engaging the children in age-appropriate activities, managing daily routines, and assisting with light household tasks related to the children.
The ideal candidate is friendly, kind, and professional, with experience caring for infants and toddlers. Punctuality and reliability are essential, as the mother is a doctor and requires a dependable nanny who can be consistently present and on time.
Responsibilities:
- Provide warm and nurturing care for an infant, including feedings, naps, tummy time, and other developmental activities.
- Pick up the toddler from school and transport to activities as needed. The toddler is in school part-time.
- Engage both children in fun, educational, and age-appropriate activities, including story time and creative play.
- Maintain a structured daily routine, ensuring consistency with feedings, naps, and playtime.
- Support the mother by managing childcare responsibilities, allowing her to spend quality time with the children.
- Occasionally assist with dinner preparation, including prepping ingredients for the mother to cook. The family maintains a kosher kitchen.
- Keep the children’s areas clean and organized, including tidying play spaces, sanitizing bottles and toys, and managing their laundry.
