We are seeking an Office Administrator/Title Clerk to join our expanding team at My Lakeshore Subaru. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the documentation and processing of vehicle titles and registrations, ensuring compliance with state regulations, and performing office administration tasks as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Deal Posting
- General Automotive Office duties
- Compiling and processing bank contracts, title and registration documents
- Process vehicle titles and registrations accurately and efficiently
- Verify and prepare all necessary documentation for title transfers
- Communicate with state DMV offices to resolve title issues and inquiries
- Maintain accurate records of all title-related transactions
- Collaborate with sales and finance departments to ensure smooth transactions
- Review vehicle sales transactions for accuracy and completeness
- Follow all state mandates and procedures
- Ensure that month-end and daily deadlines are met
- Utilize dealership accounting software
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in business administration or a related field is a plus
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Excellent data entry skills
- Previous experience as a Title Clerk or in a similar administrative role, preferably in the automotive industry
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle various tasks simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and dealership management software
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
