Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals to join our team. In this role, you will provide support to ADULTS with autism in a DAY PROGRAM, ensuring their well-being and enhancing their quality of life. You will work in a variety of settings including the community.
Duties
- Follow individualized meaningful activity plan for each client
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Document daily activities, progress, and any changes in client behavior or health status.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience working in a DAY PROGRAM
- CPR/FA/AED certificate is needed
- Proof of strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients .
- Proof of past compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality support
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must be able to pass criminal background checks as required by state regulations.
- Must have reliable transportation to come to work.
