Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Child Care Program Director to join our team! As a Director you will oversee all aspects of education, curriculum, and activities for our students. You will continue with the standards of Texas Rising Star requirements, ensure compliance within classrooms, and help set up classrooms accordingly and help train staff to meet their standards. Train teachers on classroom management. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of child development and education, and can work well with staff and families alike to ensure educational, fun activities year-round.
Responsibilities
- Organize programs and lesson plans for students under your supervision
- Utilize programs that meet state minimums and standards
- Order and manage supplies for classrooms based on chosen curriculum standards
- Train staff based on chosen curriculum and program guidelines
Qualifications
- Experience working directly with children in a Texas Rising Star Program with a 4 STAR Rating
- Expertise in Texas Child Care Licensing Regulations and Compliance
- Ability to build strong relationships with coworkers and families to ensure a positive learning experience
- Strong leadership skills to motivate staff
- Have Experienced in grant writing
- Experience in CACFP
- Proficiency in Procare
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Director with a valid license
- BS: Early Childhood Education
