My Pet's Place in Mason, Ohio is looking for a Part Time Lodging Tech with growth opportunities at our boarding/daycare/grooming facility. My Pet’s Vet, a successful veterinary hospital, has added more services for our clients by providing them a place they feel happy and comfortable bringing their fur babies for playtime and/or overnight stays. Responsibilities and Duties
The Lodging Technician is responsible for the cleanliness and comfort of our guests.
- Work with a sense of urgency & intent
- Deliver outstanding client service through knowledge of products services and benefits available
- Follow through with all commitments made to clients and/or team members in a timely manner.
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly chores.
- Partner with the Playtime staff during morning Buddy times, ensuring proper supervision, and care of pets as needed
- Ensure all necessary documentation of meals, potty breaks and that all interactions are completed.
- Complete pet’s intro and exit evaluations.
- Ensure each pet received outstanding service by providing safe, enjoyable experience during each and every interaction.
- Clean lodging areas
Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated ability to show empathy toward clients and treat animals with respect and compassion.
- This is a trainable position but having some previous experience in the pet industry is a plus.
- A commitment to outstanding client service.
- Education: High School or Equivalent
- Standing or walking 90% of scheduled shifts
- Required to lift, move, and carry up to 40lbs
- Ability to control and walk a dog with a leash Work flexible shifts including nights, some weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to be flexible and willing to work extended hours when necessary.
