Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications to patients

- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Answer phone calls and address inquiries or concerns
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care
- Adhere to all pharmacy laws, regulations, and guidelines
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Certified Pharmacy Technician in a hospital or retail pharmacy setting
- Proficiency in using pharmacy software systems for prescription processing and inventory management
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, drug names, dosage forms, and drug interactions
- Familiarity with aseptic technique for preparing sterile products such as inhalations and IV infusions
- Experience in critical care or acute care settings is preferred
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
Qualifications:
- Active certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
