Pizza maker/ Cashier/ Prep

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a restaurant environment and a strong understanding of food handling and safety practices. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for preparing delicious pizzas that meet our high standards for quality and taste while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food handling and safety guidelines are followed to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
• Operate kitchen equipment, including ovens, mixers, and pizza cutters, with care and efficiency.
• Manage inventory of ingredients, ensuring freshness and proper storage.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order preparation and delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area, including washing dishes and cleaning workstations.
• Assist in training new kitchen staff on pizza preparation techniques and safety protocols.
• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting positively with customers when necessary.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or grocery store setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and handling cash register transactions.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
