The MY PLACE HOTEL is looking for an experienced Maintenance/Handyman to join our team as our Hotel Maintenance Technician!
Duties Include:
- Work in accordance with the Hotel's Brand Standards and in accordance with maintenance guidelines and goals.
- Offer courteous and sincere hospitality at all times.
- Maintain a safe, clean hotel and grounds.
- Preventative maintenance of all rooms and common areas by ensuring all furniture, appliances, and electrical equipment such as TVs, refrigerators, and light fixtures are in working order.
- Preventative maintenance on all maintenance tools and equipment.
- Maintain exterior landscaping and lawn
- Ensure all repairs meet company standards.
- Assist in the cleanliness of and maintain the Hotel's exterior spaces and common areas.
Important Position Requirements:
- Have a working knowledge of general repair skills.
- Ability to efficiently multi-task and work under time constraints.
- Be team-oriented and be able to take direction.
- Aid in housekeeping and front desk in housekeeping and janitorial duties.
- Must possess the physical ability to perform all duties.
- Valid driver's license.
- Willing to work a flexible schedule when necessary.
- Well groomed, practices personal hygiene, adheres to company dress code policy.
