My Place Hotels of America is looking for an energetic National Sales Representative to join our sales team. The National Sales Representative solicits target accounts for the purpose of boosting revenue at the hotel level and hotel chain level and achieving revenue goals. Will develop new strategies to uncover new business and generate leads within a given market segment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Solicits target accounts for the purpose of boosting revenue at the individual hotel level and hotel chain level achieving revenue goals.
- Maintain organization of contacts and efforts through the CRM and various other technologies/processes.
- Develop new strategies to uncover new business and generate leads.
- Conduct market research continually to fully understand the competition, upcoming events, economic-development and new market trends.
- Continually and effectively communicate with hotels about their market as well as with current and potential customers.
- Respond in a timely manner to incoming sales opportunities.
- Manage individual hotel events alongside the General Managers.
Job Requirements
- Hotel and B2B sales experience.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Suite. Salesforce is a plus.
- Must have a valid driver's license and personal vehicle for work use.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Excellent multi-task and organization skills.
- Must be dependable, professional, consistent and serious about the tasks at hand.
- Excellent attention to detail.
Preferred but not Required Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
The job operates in a professional environment as well as on the road. This position also requires travel including but not limited to air and vehicle travel.
Physical Demands
This is largely a sedentary role with travel required.
Travel
This position requires 50-75% travel. Extended and weekend travel is sometimes required.
Safety Requirements
Must be aware and conform to all safety requirements when in the office, operating motor vehicles, or in the field performing duties for the company.
