What are the responsibilities and job description for the DCS (Distributed Control System) Technician position at MY RECRUE?
Qualifications:
- Minimum AS degree or certificate preferred, but experience will be considered in lieu of.
- Prior experience in the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of DCS and PLC control systems and their networks.
- Possess thorough understanding of network topology as well as private IP addressing to facilitate network design and configuration of all network devices.
- Experience with Yokogawa DCS systems is preferred
Essential Functions
- Install operator workstations and printers
- Install desktop operating systems and control system software
- Install OT network cabling and other network equipment
- Install control system hardware
- Troubleshoot and provide technical support for the OT network, hardware, and software
- Perform preventative maintenance where needed
- Maintain required documentation
- Assist Process Control Specialists
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $37.03 - $41.39 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
