What are the responsibilities and job description for the Piping Designer position at MY RECRUE?
- 5 years experience in the construction industry, with 3 years working in an EPC/Owner's representative environment for large capital projects on oil/gas, chemical, or heavy industrial construction projects.
- Professional knowledge of ANSI, ASME, API and CSA Design Codes.
- Pipe stress analysis experience.
- Strong working skills and experience in process piping design & drafting; mechanical structural, equipment layout, piping plans, isometric details and material take-off in the Petrochemical and Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong practical experience of As-Built & quality control / assurance documentations.
- Knowledge of construction software like Blue Beam, Navisworks, Primavera, Procore, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace ) and piping stress analysis.
- Working skills with AutoPlant 3D , CadWorx, AUTOCad
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $55.00 - $58.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
