My Ride to Work is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our fast growing transportation company as a reservations agent. As part of our team, you answer phones and emails, assisting customers in booking transportation reservations. You accurately record customer information and advise customers on travel times along with pick up and drop off locations. You help customers in altering or cancelling reservations as necessary. Our ideal candidate has excellent phone and email skills, strong communications and customer service skill and a keen attention to detail.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer phones and assist customers in making, altering or canceling reservations
- Accurately record customer information and take payment upon successful completion of booking reservation
- Respond to emails with reservation information and confirmations
- Advise customers regarding travel times to and from destinations
- Answer customer questions regarding pick up and drop off locations
- Oversee all communications within specifically assigned routes
- Other duties as assigned
Experience/Qualifications:
- Previous reservation experience preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer and email communication skills
- Ability to multitask
- Fast learner and self starter
- Attention to detail and the ability to resolve customer concerns
- Strong organizational ability
- Ability to remain professional under pressure
