- Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable: Manage all accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
- Agent Commissions and Incentive Programs: Process agent commissions and in-house incentive programs.
- Carrier Correspondence: Handle correspondence with carriers regarding commissions.
- Assist with Commission Audits: Audit commission statements against actual production using various incentive structures.
- Error Resolution: Research and correct all carrier errors on commission statements.
- Report Management: Assist in organizing, scanning, and file all commission reports.
- Assist with Commission Structures: Review and advise the President on commission structures, contracts, and amendments from carriers.
- Side-Deals Tracking: Track all side-deals and work closely with the President for all side-deal payouts.
- Renewal Audits: Audit and check for discrepancies in renewals of past production.
- Disenrollment Audits: Audit and check for rapid disenrollments.
- Commission Payments Backup: Ensure all commissions are paid to the proper company, bank account, and Tax ID.
- Downline Audits: Conduct audits on downline agents’ commissions and renewals.
- Agency Bloc Updates: Update Agency Bloc features and add/revise/delete fields.
- Internal Incentive Structures: Create, review, complete, send, track, reconcile, and manage payouts on internal incentive structures.
- Application Processing: Work with administrative staff to ensure applications are processed correctly to avoid commission errors.
- Database Management: Work closely with the Marketing Systems Specialist for existing database lost clients.
- Reconciliation: Responsible for reconciliation of purchased books of business.
- Third-Party Payments: Manage third-party payments such as rent, AT&T, SDG&E, partner and lead sourcing, etc.
- Data Management: Enter data, update, and create spreadsheets/profiles using Microsoft Office programs.
- Bookkeeping: Perform bookkeeping for both My Senior Health Plan and Financial Grade, utilizing software programs such as QuickBooks in preparation for end-of-year taxes and audits.
- Process Development: Work closely with the CEO and Director of HR & Administrative Operations to develop or edit processes related to commissions, AP, AR, and general ledger.
- Assist with additional duties or projects as needed by management.
- Reconcile and audit bi-weekly payroll.
- High school diploma with 5 years of related experience in compliance and/or auditing, or a university degree in Finance or Accounting with 3 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excell, Word, and PowerPoint.
