My Sister’s Cottage is a Christian boutique located in Wilmington, NC, and in Charleston, SC specializing in Women's clothing, home decor, and gifts. My Sister’s Cottage was created with a purpose. The mission of this local boutique is to establish one safe house, or cottage, for women escaping human trafficking with every store created nationwide. 10% of all My Sister’s Cottage profits are donated to local emergency shelters supporting survivors of human trafficking. This Charleston boutique has been operating in our King Street location since July 2022.

Store Manager Job Description:
- Supervise, train, and assist employees like Sales Representatives and Shift Leads in customer service, sales goals, and product promotions.
- Hire and train as needed to ensure adequate personnel is on hand to provide outstanding customer service.
- Develop and maintain a schedule for employees.
- Seek ways to better promote the store, the product line, and the service within the store.
- Implement cross-training of employees to always maintain productivity.
- Manage all controllable costs with a view to maintaining profitability.
- Ensure the store always remains clean and presentable.
- Identify current and future customer needs by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers to understand service requirements.
- Walk the sales floor and Inventory room regularly, talking to colleagues and customers to identify or resolve urgent issues
- Address customer complaints and issues in a professional manner.
- Handle staff conflicts, complaints, and problems.
- Work with in store Visual Merchandiser to maintain “On brand” store atmosphere.
- Conducting employee evaluations and performance reviews, as well as providing or organizing training and development
- Install various promotional materials and in-store displays for promotions centered on holiday sales and other cycles.
- Maintain operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational and personnel policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with various health and safety regulations.
Store Manager Requirements and Qualifications:

- Willingness to learn and tackle new challenges.
