Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Associate to join our team. You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, receiving and processing shipments, and participating in inventory counts and audits, all while contributing to a smooth and efficient operation.
Duties
- Maintain consistent and timely communication within the Inventory Slack channels and with the Inventory Manager.
- Prepare the stockroom for upcoming shipments, ensure it remains organized and clean, and promptly dispose of pallet debris and stray shipping materials.
- Organize the inventory room, and ensure all backstock products are labeled and visible to the store merchandiser and retail associates for restocking.
- Inform the Inventory Manager about needed supplies
- Complete the End of Shift checklist daily
- Process items to make them floor-ready promptly
- Unbox items
- Steam clothing
- Assemble Furniture
- Tag items
- Verify that the received items match the packing slip and invoice and communicate any discrepancies with the Inventory Manager.
- Prepare new inventory for photoshoots
- Ensure new clothing items are pulled, steamed, and available for photoshoots.
- Assist in quality control by inspecting shipments for damages
- Report and forward photos of any damages to the Inventory Manager.
- Assist shift leads with online orders
- Check for new online orders throughout the shift
- Pull items and prepare for shipping
- Uphold company standards when interacting with customers or vendors.
- Exhibit a positive attitude and be willing to help coworkers as needed for smooth operations.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
