Job Summary :
The Financial Assistant is responsible for managing client-facing financial transactions, including invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliation. This role ensures timely collections, maintains financial accuracy, and supports clients in understanding their financial obligations. Additionally, the role involves handling accounts payable functions related to vendors, outside contractors, and program expenses.
Key Responsibilities :
Accounts Receivable (Client-Facing)
- Process and apply client payments, including credit cards, payment links, and direct transactions.
- Coordinate with clients, responsible parties, and payers regarding payments, deductible / out-of-pocket expenses, copays, deposits, and payment plans.
- Issue invoices and reconcile accounts to ensure financial accuracy.
- Conduct age analysis and collections for outstanding balances.
- Manage credit memos, refunds, and financial adjustments as needed.
- Assist with COBRA coordination and Financial Passport Review.
