What are the responsibilities and job description for the Installation and Construction Crew Member position at Myatt Landscaping & Construction?

We are a locally-owned professional landscape company specializing in high-quality residential & commercial landscaping and grounds management. Our aim is to provide superior service while building lasting relationships with our clients and employees.

- Takes great care of company vehicles and equipment

- Uses provided PPE appropriately
- Stays off the phone except for business calls and emergencies
- Has a valid and clean NC driver’s license
- Can lift 50 lbs. frequently throughout the day
- Can stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, and twist throughout the day
- Can keep job site clean and organized daily
- Can keep all tools organized and loaded daily on truck
- Can pull weeds and clean debris from job sites
- Can edge beds and install mulch or pine straw
- Is proficient with hand tools (shovels, rakes, picks, etc.)
- Is proficient with tillers and blowers
- Is proficient at bed and turf preparation
- Is proficient at planting trees and shrubs
- Is proficient at staking trees
- Is proficient at installing sod
Pay rate will be hourly with true overtime paid for any work over 40 hours and paid weekly.
