Home Health Aide

Job Summary
We seek compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregivers to support clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in patient care, particularly with seniors, and will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities while ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. This role is crucial and integral to enhancing our clients' quality of life and supporting their independence. Pay is based on experience and certifications. This role requires travel to various locations in the South Shore area, depending on the client's location.

Duties

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
• Help with mobility and lifting as needed to ensure client safety.
• Medication Reminders
• Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs, including memory care strategies.
• Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship.
• Maintain a clean and organized living space for clients.
• Document daily activities and changes in the client's condition and report any concerns to family members or healthcare professionals.
• Complete initial, annual, and continuing education training assignments per company requirements.

Requirements

• Previous experience in nursing homes, assisted living, or home health settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of CPR and first aid techniques is a plus.
• Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices.
• Ability to lift and assist clients with mobility challenges.
• Familiarity with developing and following care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor towards seniors.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• HHA Certificate or CNA Certificate, or have proven 3 years of experience as a PCA
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to communicate, read, and write in English

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
