Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aides to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a Personal Care Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by offering personalized care and support in various settings such as home care, group homes, or nursing facilities. We will pay to get Medication Administration License for right candidates.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Administer medication as directed and ensure adherence to prescribed schedules.
- Support individuals with disabilities by facilitating participation in social and recreational activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate personnel.
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations while providing care.
- Lift and transfer clients safely using proper techniques to prevent injury.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home care, nursing homes, memory care facilities, or group homes is preferred.
- Knowledge of medication administration practices is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families.
- Compassionate nature and a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Ability to lift clients safely and assist with mobility as needed.
- Understanding of working with individuals on the autism spectrum or those with other disabilities is beneficial.
- Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
