Ford Spring Hill is looking for a new Parts Counter Salesperson to join their growing team! If you have some automotive experience and want to further that career; here is the place to go.
The purpose of the position is to generate parts sales (retail/wholesale) while maximizing company's profitability. Understand and demonstrate capabilities and features of all parts and accessories. Develop and maintain customer relationships for future sales. Assist Service Department personnel (Technicians, Service Advisors, etc.) with their parts needs and provide excellent customer service
Qualifications
DUTIES (RESPONSIBILITIES):
- Always display a professional demeanor.
- Keep current on all dealership product(s) knowledge as well as our competitors'.
- Ability to develop and maintain customer relationships (before and after sales.)
- Keep Parts warehouse and inventory bins clean and organized.
- Assist Technicians/Service Advisors with accurate customer quotes.
- Follow-up on quotes and maintain accurate notes.
- Determine parts availability and inform Manager of low inventory levels.
- Maintain valid driver's license.
- Follow all established company, department and safety policies and procedures.
- Acceptable attendance is mandatory.
- Must be able to work all required hours, including extended hours for events, when necessary.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by Manager or Department Head.
- Must be able to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Additional duties as required.
- Must pass Drug Screen and Background Test

REQUIREMENTS
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of CDK and its functions.
- Adept with Microsoft applications.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Basic sales negotiation experience.
- Able to efficiently multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Function well both within a teamwork environment and with all other departments.
