We design, integrate, manufacture, install, and maintain this equipment for a diverse portfolio of end users in the Agro-Chem, Commercial, Critical Power, Government, Health Care, Industrial / Mining, Marine, Military, Multifamily Residential, Oil & Gas, Renewables, Rail / Transit, Utilities, and Water / Wastewater industries. This position is based at our Myers Controlled Power factory in North Canton, Ohio.

Duties and responsibilities:

1. Review, plan and estimate time on job.

2. Create customer approval drawings.

3. Layout, design and detail CAD drawings.

4. Requisition purchase parts.

5. Work closely with shop personnel assisting with interpretation of engineering designs.

6. Create project bills of material.

7. Occasional field measurement trips.

8. Quote drawings.

Qualifications:

1. Associates Degree in Mechanical Design (or equivalent work experience).

2. Four (4) years of drafting experience to include sheet metal fabrication.

3. Two (2) years minimum in switchgear design and CAD.

4. Safety and quality-oriented, accountable, dependable, reliable, productive, ethical, a strong communicator, innovative, a team player, and have a positive attitude.
