REGIONAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE
DEPARTMENT: Sales
REPORTS TO: Director of School Bus Sales
SUPERVISES: None
PURPOSE: Primary purpose is to sell new and used school buses within the assigned area of responsibility or specific customer/account list provided. Also, to grow the number of customers who do business with the dealership and enhance the customer experience.

The resulting full line of driver-friendly school, activity, commercial, and specialty buses, are manufactured and produced in High Point, North Carolina, and are sold through independently owned dealerships throughout North America.
RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Markets new and used bus sales to school districts, contractor bus companies, churches and other organizations that fit the product lines and applications of of the line of products the dealership represents.
- Meet with customers to discuss the features and benefits of the TBB product line, and the capabilities of Myers Equipment Corporation in parts, sales, service, and leasing.
- Coordinate schedule and routes to meet call rate for territory. Daily travel within territory in company vehicle or show unit.
- Supports the sale of service/maintenance agreements, and parts/service promotions to customers.
- Performs follow-up calls at customer locations on all bus sales.
- Addresses customer issues and resolves problems effectively and satisfactorily.
- Profiles customers and their fleet and provides all customer demographic data required with the dealer's customer database.
- Participates in product presentations at customer clinics, open houses, factory sponsored training events, and dealership meetings.
- Assists with the after sales service calls to ensure equipment is operating at customers' satisfaction.
- Provides limited technical support when appropriate.
- Keep all licenses and education/training requirements in good standing. All training expenses are paid for by company except CDL.
- Company car, fuel, insurance, salary commission, paid holidays, 401k, health insurance, life insurance.

Qualifications:
- Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- One year related experience
- CDL preferred
- Language Skills
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before small groups of customers or other employees.
