Description
Myers Park Country Club is looking for someone that can provide our members with a positive first impression by greeting everyone with courtesy, kindness, and a spirit of hospitality. The ideal men’s locker room attendant possesses excellent customer service and organizational skills and has a keen attention to detail. They are an energetic individual with a positive attitude and professional demeanor. Come ready to earn a commission, as this role is eligible for it!
Requirements
- Ability to recall member preferences and demonstrates exceptional character in the performance of job duties
- Performs personal services for members, such as shining shoes
- Restocks and maintains inventory of all supplies within restrooms, showers, locker room, steam room, and fitness area
- Performs general housekeeping functions such as vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, sweeping, polishing, dusting, emptying wastebaskets, maintaining cleanliness of restrooms and showers, etc.
- Follows safety precautions such as handling and using cleaning solutions for their intended purpose, storing chemical and cleaning supplies in the appropriate locations with correct labeling, and operating the equipment (shoeshine machine, hand tools) according to manufacturer’s specifications
Physical Requirements
- Perform most of the work in standing position with frequent bending, stooping, and twisting
- Carry, push, pull, and lift up to 45 pounds several times per shift
- Work in wet, humid environment and walk on wet surfaces
Experience
- One year of prior customer service and/or custodial experience, country club setting preferred
