What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Project Manager position at Myers & Sons Construction?
We are seeking a highly experienced Structures Project Manager to lead our North County Corridor Project in Stanislaus County.
The project involves the construction of 7 bridges and 1 box culvert, along with the realignment and extension of Claribel Rd, and the construction of the new North Corridor Expressway.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project documents, including contracts, subcontracts, cost reports, and schedules.
- Lead a project team on a fast-paced project.
- Develop and execute work plans and track costs.
- Maintain thorough understanding of the contract with the Owner.
- Monitor and report project schedule and cost progress.
- Review and approve project invoices and subcontractor payables.
- Document control such as change and claim management.
- Subcontractor management and development of subcontracts.
- Material procurement including purchase orders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Construction Management, or Engineering preferred.
- 10-15 years or more of experience in highway civil or structures construction projects in California.
- Experienced dealing with subcontracts, subcontractors, and self-perform work.
- Excellent organizational, team management, problem-solving, motivational skills.
