Myerstown Nursing and Rehab is seeking a Part Tme Receptionist for our skilled nursing facility in Myerstown , PA.
The primary purpose of the Receptionist is to manage answering phones, greeting patients and visitors in a professional and timely manner.
Shift:
- 18 hours/week; 37 hours biweekly (4p-7:30p)e/o Weekend (8:30a-5p)e/o Holiday (8:30a-5p)
Responsibilities
- Create and post monthly staff schedules, track and post changes and approve trades in the absence of the DON or as delegated by DON.
- Maintain timely records of call-offs, tardys and early arrivals and coordinate daily with HR to ensure attendance policies are administered promptly and fairly.
- Provide accurate and timely reports to DON, Facility Administrator and management on issues relating to staffing, vacancies and agency use, or other topics as assigned.
- Prepare and submit accurate, complete payroll reports on a timely basis
- Verify employment data and backgrounds on job applicants
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent computer skills required for the medical records clerk position
- Strong communication and customer service skills required.
