About the role
MyEyeDr. is looking for a Field Marketing Manager to partner & support field operations in support of our business goals. The Field Marketing Manager would be responsible for local/regional marketing plan support development and execution to build brand awareness, drive patients and achieve profitability for long-term success/growth. This position is the primary contact/support with field operations within assigned territory.
To be successful in this role, the candidate should have the ability to think purposefully and execute flawlessly with strong communication and project management skills.
Reporting to the Director, Local Marketing Strategy & Operations, this is a hybrid role with a flexible work arrangement out of our Vienna, VA or Raleigh, NC offices.
You Will
- Act as a point of contact with field operators (Regional VP/District Managers) maintaining consistent communication to discuss specific marketing needs, encouraging field engagement and compliance with brand standards.
- Build effective working relationships with field operators and local vendors to translate business needs into action. Attends District Manager and Regional calls and is in consistent contact with Regional VP.
- Conducts market visits to build relationships with local teams and reinforce marketing standards.
- Interface with industry and professional organizations to increase brand awareness of the brand and expand networking opportunities. e.g., local chambers, local cause organizations, facilitates sponsorship opportunities
- Develop and execute DeNovo/Grand Opening plans for new office openings, including pre-launch marketing tactics, community engagement, local partnerships, and event coordination to drive awareness.
- Partner with marketing team and operations leadership to inform and develop marketing support plans and programs for various initiatives, campaigns, promotions, and/or product launches, to achieve desired business goals in support of the overarching brand strategy.
- Partner with field operations to identify local opportunities to drive revenue and demand, where needed.
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop local marketing support materials that align with the overall brand voice, platform, and strategy.
- Organizes and manages local calendar activities and tracks effectiveness of marketing efforts against budget
- Organizes and manages expense tracking against budget
- Produces local competitor analysis, conducting market analysis to performance marketing to inform market decisions
- Gather and analyze patient VoC data, market research and market performance, promotion performance, to inform go forward marketing tactics
About You
- 5 years, Experience in marketing, business administration, sales, or related field preferred
- 5 years, Experience developing and executing local/regional marketing plans and programs preferred
- Optical, Retail and/or Franchisee experience preferred
- Bachelor's Degree, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Business, Advertising, or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, skills and experience
- Working knowledge of developing and executing marketing plans and programs across multiple platforms
- Ability to evaluate marketing effectiveness, overall sales, and competitive trends
- Ability to create program goals, messaging, communication, and overall event plans
- Ability to communicate complex concepts in clear concise language; to demonstrate active listening while engaging others; and to establish, implement, and clearly communicate strategies that align with business needs and objectives to gain buy-in from stakeholder
- Ability to present to key stakeholders in a relevant and compelling manner
- Ability to assess situations, provide counsel, and identify solutions that resolve challenges/issues, while considering the best interests of all parties; to develop and implement short and long-term solutions; and to apply effective problem solving and decision-making to address business needs and issues
- Ability to develop and maintain positive business relationships (e.g., senior management, stakeholders, other departments, etc.) and foster an environment of mutual respect, understanding, trust, and support
- Ability to adapt and adjust planned work through analyzing work demands, competing priorities, and tight deadlines; and to understand the most effective and efficient means to accomplish tasks within the parameters of the organizational structure, processes, systems, and policies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft PowerBI
- Must be able to travel 20-30%
