What are the responsibilities and job description for the Growth Marketing Specialist position at MyFitnessPal?
At MyFitnessPal, we believe good health starts with what you eat. We provide tools, resources and support to enable users to reach their health goals. The Marketing team at MyFitnessPal collaborates with all business units to help drive our business forward and help our users achieve their goals.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assist the team in reporting of various paid marketing channels and app stores across different parts of the funnel.
- Assist the team with budget management and reporting to ensure accurate pacing.
- Analyze channel performance reports and make optimization recommendations to marketing managers.
- Work cross-functionally with the internal Creative team, Business Intelligence team, and with external agencies to better the performance of marketing.
- Help with one-off marketing tests (channels, creatives etc) as and when required.
- Builds reports and decks to share learnings with the larger organization.
Qualifications to be successful in this role:
- 2-3 years of experience managing / reporting on digital media channels such as Google Ads, YouTube Ads, Programmatic Display, CTV, etc. Both brand and agency experience are welcome.
- Experience with mobile ad buying a plus.
- Excellent with numbers and excel. You are good at digging data and parsing out signals that can meaningfully have an impact on campaign performance.
- Attention to detail. You understand the importance of getting seemingly small things right.
- Good interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with marketing managers, creative teams, analytics teams as well as external agencies and publishers.
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
