This is a hybrid position in NYC. We do three (3) days in the office (Tues - Thurs).What you’ll be doing : As a Sr. Product Designer, you will guide end-to-end experiences, providing structure and stability for your team. Leveraging your expertise in user experience and visual design, you'll ensure seamless, system-aligned interfaces. Your contributions will shape product strategy, driven by a deep understanding of user goals, business needs, and a passion for solving complex challenges. You will : Create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for our advertising platformTransform abstract ideas into practical and functional designsAddress complex challenges with innovative and creative solutionsWork closely with cross-functional teams to explore opportunities, prototype concepts, and iterate on designsDeliver impactful and engaging end-to-end design solutionsPresent design solutions and rationale to the team and key stakeholdersBridge the gap between research insights and actionable design conceptsLeverage a people-focused design thinking mentalityFocus on creating operational excellence within the Product Design team, emphasizing learning, feedback, and high-velocity iterationPartner closely with a cross-functional team of Product Managers, Engineers, Analysts, Researchers, and MarketersCraft effective and engaging user experiences by understanding both customers and our businessEmbody and promote the core values of MyFitnessPal in all activities : Be Kind and CareLive Good HealthBe Data-InspiredChampion ChangeLeave it Better than You Found ItMake It HappenQualifications to be Successful in This Role : 5 years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design solutionsExpertise in creating user-centered designs that balance business goals, user needs, and technical feasibilityAdvanced proficiency with design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative SuiteStrong understanding of interaction design, visual design, and design systemsFamiliarity with WCAG accessibility standards and commitment to inclusive design practicesExperience conducting user research and applying findings to inform design decisionsExcellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale to diverse stakeholdersProven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and other team members in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving skills with a creative approach to addressing design challengesSelf-motivated with a proactive attitude and ability to manage multiple projects and prioritiesPassion for staying updated on industry trends, tools, and best practicesBonus Points : Experience working in SVPG product operating model developing products in the health, wellness, or exercise space. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
