We are looking for a Sr. Product Designer on our Ads team. This is a hybrid position in NYC. We do three (3) days in the office (Tues - Thurs).

What you’ll be doing: 

As a Sr. Product Designer, you will guide end-to-end experiences, providing structure and stability for your team. Leveraging your expertise in user experience and visual design, you'll ensure seamless, system-aligned interfaces. Your contributions will shape product strategy, driven by a deep understanding of user goals, business needs, and a passion for solving complex challenges. You will:

• Create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for our advertising platform
• Transform abstract ideas into practical and functional designs
• Address complex challenges with innovative and creative solutions
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to explore opportunities, prototype concepts, and iterate on designs
• Deliver impactful and engaging end-to-end design solutions
• Present design solutions and rationale to the team and key stakeholders
• Bridge the gap between research insights and actionable design concepts
• Leverage a people-focused design thinking mentality
• Focus on creating operational excellence within the Product Design team, emphasizing learning, feedback, and high-velocity iteration
• Partner closely with a cross-functional team of Product Managers, Engineers, Analysts, Researchers, and Marketers 
• Craft effective and engaging user experiences by understanding both customers and our business

Qualifications to be Successful in This Role:

• 5 years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design solutions
• Expertise in creating user-centered designs that balance business goals, user needs, and technical feasibility
• Advanced proficiency with design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong understanding of interaction design, visual design, and design systems
• Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards and commitment to inclusive design practices
• Experience conducting user research and applying findings to inform design decisions
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale to diverse stakeholders
• Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and other team members in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills with a creative approach to addressing design challenges
• Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Passion for staying updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices

Bonus Points: Experience working in  SVPG product operating model developing products in the health, wellness, or exercise space.

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at MyFitnessPal ranges from $130,000 - $160,000. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition, MyFitnessPal offers a wide range of comprehensive and inclusive employee benefits for this role including healthcare, parental planning, mental health benefits, annual performance bonus, a 401(k) plan and match, responsible time off, monthly wellness and technology allowances, and others.
