Job Summary
The BioPharma Business Analyst will have the responsibility of supporting Pharma-specific insights within the Biopharma Solutions enterprise. This role will also closely with the BioPharma Commercial team to conduct projects to support the identification of new customers, RFPs, pull information in and out of salesforce, and customer presentations.
This role will develop and maintain a thorough understanding Walgreens pharma trade and services and how Walgreens aligns to the competitive marketplace. The BioPharma Business Analyst will be responsible to analyze internal financial information, market data, and other sources of information to further develop cost and opportunity benefit analysis for recommended solutions and capabilities for Pharma accounts. This role works close closely with the Account Director and Management team on projects in strategy development, industry trends, competitive analysis, and company positioning.
This position will define and create ongoing updates and scorecards that illustrate progress against strategic objectives, top line metrics and other KPI's to demonstrate the success of the BioPharma Solutions enterprise.

The actual salary an employee can expect to receive ranges between $63,000 to $121,000, plus bonus pursuant to the terms of any bonus plan if applicable, will depend on experience, seniority, geographic location, and other factors permitted by law. Job Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains a comprehensive understanding of Walgreens biopharma business processes, services, and industry practices pertaining to acquiring a new retail and specialty products
- Monitor market research and trends, internal strategic priorities, sales pipelines, and solution portfolios to ensure alignment, integrity and quality of proposals for new RFPs.
- Ownership and management of cross-segment processes for business analysis that are established to derive value for the organization and drive growth
- Work with business stakeholders to recommend solution or business case modifications and facilitate cross-segment implementation of these changes
- Perform ad hoc analysis based on pharma requests in the sales cycle and other business needs
- Analyzes corresponding data to effectively recommend changes, enhancements, development of pharma services costs and or return on investment summarized
- Develops and presents cost-benefit analyses of proposed programs and makes specific recommendations tied to the business goals of the BioPharma Solutions enterprise
- Supports in the annual strategical planning process
