Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for conversion of supply plan into a master production schedule which can be executed. Each day, you will translate projected forecasts, incoming volume, and work scopes into a production plan with a time-phased build schedule. You will also showcase your expertise by establishing key performance indicators of master plan accuracy. The work model for the role is: Onsite You will be mainly accountable for:

- Translates projected forecasts, incoming volume, and work scopes into a production plan with a time-phased build schedule; Establishes key performance indicators of master plan accuracy.
- Ensures the interaction with a firm’s functional managers, and tracks and maintains the forecast through timely and accurate feedback.
- Assembles master schedule report that encompasses performance against the business plan, shipment plan, inventory plan, and production plan.
- Identifies current planned level of demand and creates tactical production plans to meet the identified customer demand. Our team dynamics You will join a dynamic, talented, high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.
- Bachelor degree in business, engineering or related field PLUS minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment OR Associate degree PLUS minimum 4 years related experience OR High School diploma/GED PLUS minimum 6 years related experience.
- Requires understanding of supply management and transportation matters and related policies.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
- SAP experience and technical ability to create new tools or processes that improve the planning/purchasing/scheduling process.
- Requires ability to respond effectively to unforeseen developments and initiate actions to reduce adverse impact.
- Interfacing with other groups on matters that may involve negotiations requires ability to communicate effectively.
- Extensive knowledge of bill of materials and routings
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
