About The Role
The BSC Surgical Endoscopy Territory Manager (SETM) will be responsible for driving sales revenue within their territory to meet or exceed the SETM's specific Sales Plan.
The SETM call point will be a Surgeon (i.e. - Colorectal Surgeon, Minimally Invasive Surgeon, Bariatric Surgeon, Hepatobiliary Surgeon, Thoracic) and Pulmonologist performing or prescribing Flexible Endoscopy solutions. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining constructive, strategic relationships within key accounts at the Physician, Nurse, Technician, Operating Room, Hospital Infection Control and Materials Management levels, through frequent and routine customer visits, product demonstrations, product in-services, and procedural observation. Surgical Endoscopy will also be a major focus for the SATM so segmentation of relevant call points, e.g., MIS, CRS, will be an essential aspect of the role.
In addition, the SETM will focus on the Surgical Endoscopy's divisional strategies and priorities, define and develop new business opportunities and contribute to overall team success. The SATM must be able to take actions that are consistent with the stated organizational goals.
Individuals will exhibit strong clinical excellence, stay current on products, competitive knowledge and utilize programs where appropriate. Understanding of the market dynamics of Surgical Endoscopy, Surgical Societies, and the Pulmonary space will be a key component to the SATM's ability to engage their customer base.
Candidate will have experience and be comfortable in the hospital and office-based settings and be creative in their problem solving.
Candidate will manage their territory with integrity and in accordance with our Code of Conduct.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
The anticipated annualized base amount or range for this full time position will be $50,000, plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives) as well as the value of core and optional benefits offered at BSC, which can be reviewed at www.bscbenefitsconnect.com. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Develop monthly and quarterly strategic plans designed to achieve revenue targets.
- Define and develop new business opportunities that clearly reflect the company's vision and priorities.
- Build and maintain sustainable strategic business relationships in key accounts by training, educating, and selling innovative technologies.
- Drive sales revenue to exceed division priorities.
- Stay current on BSC products / programs / competitive knowledge.
- Must uphold all the quality policies outlined within sales structure consistently and completely.
- All actions will demonstrate a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality.
- Understand and comply with all regulations governing our work and comply 100% of the time with all BSC corporate policy and procedure initiatives.
- 2 years relevant business experience, at least 2 years direct Flexible Endoscopy sales experience required.
- Gastroenterology and/or Pulmonary Endoscopy experience preferred.
- Clinical excellence in respective disease states
- Documented sales success
- Demonstrated top 10% performance in critical competencies.
- Successful expansion of surgical call points in respective territory preferred.
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree required.
