Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for project execution, contract compliance, customer satisfaction, and financial return for the interfaces of complex and large e-house projects. You will ensure the integration of systems, resolve interface-related issues, and maintain positive relationships between all parties involved to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. The Senior Interface Engineer will be responsible for managing the interfaces within an e-house project, ensuring seamless collaboration between various project stakeholders, including vendors, the construction company, the integration company, and other internal teams. You will coordinate all interface activities, troubleshoot any issues, and ensure the project progresses smoothly across all parties involved. This position requires a hands-on approach at the yard site, where much of the project execution will take place. You will leverage engineering principles and your expertise in system integration to meet project milestones and ensure successful project outcomes. The work model for the role is: Hybrid This role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries division. You will be mainly accountable for:
- Manage all technical interfaces within the e-house project, including those between the company, vendors, construction, and integration teams.
- Oversee the integration of electrical systems such as switchgear, automation, telecom equipment, and HVAC within the e-house. Ensure coordination of interfaces involving cable ducts, lighting panels, circuit breaker panels, and other related systems.
- Develop and implement procedures for managing interface requirements, ensuring that all project teams and vendors are aligned in terms of technical specifications and timelines.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all interface-related matters, troubleshooting issues and escalating where necessary. Our team dynamics You will join a dynamic and high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.
- 12 years of experience in engineering, with a focus on managing technical interfaces in large-scale projects (e-house, system integration, or similar).
- Strong understanding of system integration, including electrical systems, automation, HVAC, and telecom equipment.
- Proven ability to manage technical interfaces between different teams (vendors, construction, integration) and resolve issues as they arise.
- Experience in coordinating multidisciplinary teams and aligning technical requirements across multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on team collaboration and customer satisfaction.
- A high level of problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex interface issues.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred or related field).
- Professional certifications related to systems integration or project management are a plus.
- Ability to read, interpret, and understand technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and schedules.
- A strong focus on safety and adherence to workplace safety guidelines.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time to various project sites and vendor locations.
- This position will be based in Ingleside, TX. Reimbursement for relocation is not available
