About the team and the role: eBay Motors is a multi-billion dollar, global portfolio comprising the Parts & Accessories ("P&A"), Business & Industrial, Vehicles, and WHI (a B2B Parts & Accessories marketplace in US) businesses. These categories are not only among the largest on eBay and core to eBay's strategic future, but are also actively innovating in the market and at eBay.
We are looking to hire a Senior Manager/Manager of Inventory Strategy and Operations for the US P&A business, located in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role will lead the inventory strategy and go-to-market operations in partnership with category management, account management, business development, and analytics teams.
The role demands a dual mentality: both that of a strategic leader-who has a deep understanding of the dynamics of two-sided marketplaces, operates in ambiguity, is hypothesis-driven, and possesses strong data intuition-as well as someone who can move quickly and decisively as an embedded operator, not afraid to get their hands dirty.
We are hiring two roles for this team: (a) Senior Manager to lead inventory optimization and (b) a Manager to drive growth in P&A's tires, wheels, motorcycle parts, and ATV/UTV parts businesses.
What You Will Accomplish
$101,200 - $174,100
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employees will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

What You Will Accomplish
- Develop strategies and insights to improve eBay's US P&A inventory position
- Build insights reporting, tools, work plans, and alignment to action inventory strategies operationally
- Lead GTM with business development and category management to onboard new sellers & brands and optimize inventory position
- Builds executive-level communications on inventory success while elevating the voice of the seller to senior leadership
- Partner with coupon operations to improve incentive economics, scale participating sellers, and drive higher operational efficiency
- 5 years of related experience, including 2 years in an operating role at a major corporation
- Industry experience in consumer goods, retail, e-commerce, or consumer tech
- Strong ability to synthesize and visualize data and strategic insights and business cases
- SQL experience is a plus, but not required
- Interest and/or experience in Motors a plus, but not required
- BA/BS required, MBA or similar graduate degree preferred
