Description -
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Strategy and Portfolio Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team, overseeing mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures in collaboration with the central M&A team, setting and tracking OKRs, and managing the overall portfolio. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the SaaS enterprise business landscape
Key Responsibilities
- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure high performance and engagement.
- Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestitures: Collaborate with the central M&A team to identify, evaluate, and execute strategic mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. Ensure seamless integration and alignment with the company's strategic goals.
- OKR Setting and Tracking: Develop, set, and track Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to ensure alignment with the company's strategic priorities. Monitor progress and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
- Portfolio Management: Oversee the management of the company's portfolio, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and alignment with strategic objectives. Conduct regular portfolio reviews and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and execution of the company's strategic plan, providing insights and recommendations based on market trends, competitive analysis, and internal capabilities.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and external partners. Communicate effectively to ensure alignment and support for strategic initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a similar role within a SaaS enterprise business.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Extensive experience in mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
- Expertise in OKR setting and tracking.
- Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools and platforms.
