- Analyze software requirements.
- Verify user stories and problem reports.
- Design and maintain manual tests.
- Understand test strategy/test plan in line.
- Identify gaps in test strategy and test plan and present solutions. Write test cases (manual or automated) based on software requirements.
- Execute manual and automated tests. Perform tests and report defects. Identify trends in regression. Identify and solve technical and operational problems based on evaluative judgements and precedent.
- Integrate CI environment with test management tools. Review the test architecture A3.
- One month of domestic and international travel collectively throughout the year
- Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Geography, or related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related geospatial mapping position.
- Must have two (2) years of experience in each: (1) utilizing Structured Query Language; (2) object-oriented programming language Java to develop automated testing scripts; (3) Scripting languages Shell and Python for building test infrastructure; (4) utilizing Geographic Information System to perform spatial and tabular analysis of maps and their components; and (5) Operation of CAN microcontrollers, emulation software, and Android debugging technologies.
