New selection is a key driver of Amazon's flywheel and shopper experience and represents a large share of shipped units each year globally. We are seeking an exceptional Senior Program Manager to lead Amazon's worldwide New Selection Success charter. This high-visibility role will architect and execute the strategy that enables brands to successfully launch new products on Amazon. You will orchestrate multiple workstreams across the coldstart journey, from initial launch through sustainable growth, while building scalable mechanisms that drive systematic improvement in new selection performance. Through a combination of data-driven insights, rapid experimentation, and strong stakeholder alignment, you will help transform how brands launch and scale new products on Amazon.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. A Successful Candidate Will
- Have the ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams
- Demonstrate confidence operating in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment
- Utilize data and metrics to identify trends, conduct root-cause analysis, and drive decisions
- Build strong partnerships across multiple organizations to deliver results
- Manage complex projects from conception to delivery with high attention to detail
- Make prioritization decisions balancing customer experience, brand experience, and business value
- Owning the end-to-end new selection success strategy and execution across the coldstart funnel
- Identifying gaps and opportunities in the new selection journey through data-driven analysis
- Creating and managing a weekly experimentation plan to drive continuous improvement
- Developing and maintaining cross-functional relationships to influence teams and drive results
- Writing pilot documents and running critical experiments to test new ideas
- Building and maintaining mechanisms to track KPIs and conduct deep dives
- Communicating progress, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership
- Driving accountability across stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of initiatives
- Bachelor's degree
- 7 years of program or project management experience
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
- Track record of driving business impact through program management
