Worldwide Amazon Business Operations is building the operations and supply chain solutions that will enable AB's rapid growth by re-engineering many parts of our supply chain to offer bulk, consolidated, pallet deliveries and many other services that business customers require.
The AB North America Operations team is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to assist in the day-to-day operations and issue resolution within our fulfillment network. This is an exciting opportunity to join a new team in a huge growth area for Amazon.
An ideal candidate has a background in supply chain operations and excellent data driven problem-resolution skills. He/she/they have the ability to pull and analyze data with ease, drive process improvements, standardize our processes and eliminate the root cause of defects within the current systems. Candidates will work collaboratively across teams to perform in-depth analyses and troubleshoot complex issues in a variety of subject areas. This job will require exceptional communication skills while having the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

Key job responsibilities
- Enable effective decision through proactive retrieval and data aggregation from multiple sources
- Communicate analysis and insights to internal stakeholders both verbally and in writing
- Escalate problems and/or variance in data to the relevant owners and internal business partners and follow through on the resolutions
- Identify and eliminate root causes of defects to drive improvements in AB North America Operations
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying ways to streamline processes, minimize repetitive tasks, and create actionable outcomes
- Lead discussions with cross-functional teams and leadership to influence and create innovative solutions
- Work independently in a dynamic environment
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 1 years of professional or military experience
- 1 years of working with computers and Microsoft Office products and applications experience
- Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Are 18 years of age or older
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel, including the use of pivot tables, charts, and vlookup
- Bachelor's degree in operations, supply chain or logistics
- 2 years work experience in operations, supply chain or logistics
- Knowledge of SQL
- Knowledge of VBA and Excel Macro creation and modification
- Data management & data quality control experience with experience pulling and analyzing large sets of data
- Experience using data to understand root cause issues and drive process improvements
- Experience working independently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience communicating effective with cross-functional stakeholders
