As the Talent Program Manager, you will contribute to Swiss Re's strategic objectives through impactful talent-focused initiatives. You will be a VP-level individual contributor who is part of a global team that is accountable for succession planning, talent programs, assessments, performance management, job and capability frameworks and career development efforts impacting our 14,000 employees. Leveraging your expertise, you will be responsible for the management of a new talent program for senior leaders and high potential talents.
Success in this role requires a strong background in leading, designing and implementing talent development programs for leaders, along with the ability to collaborate with colleagues from around the world in a fast-moving environment. You must have the desire and willingness to get involved in other talent practices the team is responsible for. Developing and implementing innovative people practices stimulates you, and you are great with stakeholder management, prioritization and quick in delivering results. In addition, you're a confident and skilled communicator who can engage with senior leadership in person, in writing, and via online meetings. You are able to think big picture and connect the dots, and make things happen in an agile and pragmatic way. You show the curiosity to learn and are able to continuously adapt the talent practices to the organizational priorities.

Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office three days per week. This role is not eligible for either relocation assistance or visa sponsorship.
For Armonk NY, the estimated base salary range for this position is $136,000 to $216,000. The specific salary offered for this, or any given role will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to job location, scope of role, qualifications, complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent, experience, education, and employer budget. At Swiss Re, we take a "total compensation approach" when making compensation decisions. This means that we consider all components of compensation in their totality (such as base pay, short-and long-term incentives, and benefits offered), in setting individual compensation.

- Contribute to the design of and lead the implementation of a new talent program for senior leaders and high potential talents that accelerates leadership readiness
- Integrate high-impact experiences into the program such as executive coaching, business challenges/simulations, peer learning and capability building, and activate key phases of the program through facilitation and communication with program participants and their executive leaders
- Act as a trusted advisor to Heads of HR, executives, and Talent Partners – providing guidance and steer on targeted individual development planning and succession planning strategies
- Identify opportunities to leverage technology to effectively scale and support the program, and track and analyze a number of success metrics to assess impact and make informed decisions
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, and our broader HR team to create, refresh, standardize and continually improve talent- and performance-related processes, standards, controls, and practices, while designing impactful solutions based on the best practices in the industry

- Minimum 10 years of experience in global HR CoEs, with a strong background in implementing global, modern talent programs for leaders
- Proven track record in managing senior stakeholders and contributing to talent management practices, including strategy design, internal consulting, implementation, vendor management, change management and communications
- Ability to navigate a global organization, and quickly build relationships within the team and beyond
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills with top-notch written (and spoken) English and ability to author and present succinctly using PPT
- Experience taking topics from ideation to executive proposals to a functioning strategy at pace, and guiding its implementation
- High comfort level with HR systems and A.I. technology, and ideally familiar with platforms such as Success Factors
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to identify trends in data and translate insights into actionable strategies
- Sound understanding of progressive talent and performance management philosophies, trends, and technology supporting and driving them
- Background, degree or certification in learning design, organizational development and psychology, leadership assessments and/or executive coaching a plus
