Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Robotics & Discrete Automation – General Industries Metal Fabrication market and customers during the proposal process. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by prepar-ing technical descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, and preparing final doc-umentation. The work model for the role is: – hybrid This role is contributing to the Robotics & Discrete Automation division in the US. Main stakeholders are {insert main stakeholder groups if available}. You will be mainly accountable for:

You will be mainly accountable for:
- Offering technical advice and solutions on inquiries from customers/channels/Sales Specialists about ABB products/systems/applications.
- Performing analytic and diagnostic studies to determine the optimal technical solution to meet customer needs and address complex inquiries.
- Developing and maintaining new sales opportunities and resolving specific customer problems; and ensuring achievement of targets on orders, Net Price Variance (NPV), and Net Promoter Score (NPS).
- Ensuring the achievement of budget goals, including volume targets and profitable growth, across all assigned product groups and in the respective countries. Our team dynamics You will join a collaborative and high performing team, where you will be able to thrive and develop your career.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 2 - 5 years of related experience; alternatively, a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments is accepted.
- Robotic welding automation experience highly preferred.
- Robot studio software, 3D Modeling, AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Word experience highly pre-ferred.
- Excellent math, verbal, and written communication skills.
