The Vertex Co-op Program offers students the opportunity to learn about the pharmaceutical industry from a hands-on perspective. You will be working closely with and learning from some of the brightest people in the industry. Job Summary
The Fall Co-Op will support the Commercial Cystic Fibrosis Planning Team. This role will work closely with Finished Goods, Drug Product and Upstream Material teams to assess inventory levels, Open Purchase Orders and Material Movements. This role will create a reporting tool to track current and projected on-hand inventory levels with expiry and inventory value data.
Key Responsibilities
Pay Range 20.00 - 35.00 USD/hour

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare Vertex Inventory Summaries utilizing Planning Systems (Oracle, Rapid Response)
- Provide inventory reports including on-hand balance, inventory value and projected spend data.
- Utilize Oracle (OPM) inventory system to batch production materials
- Perform Excess & Obsolescence analysis comparing on-hand inventory levels against future Demand and Purchase Orders
- Assist in tracking annual and regulatory stability commitments packaging
- Support North American Third Party Logistics activities
- Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Analytic, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Business
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (Oracle or SAP)
- Experience in Pharma Industry (Good Manufacturing Practices)
- Legal authorization to work in the United States, now and in the future. Please note that Vertex does not provide sponsorship for internships or entry level roles within this part of the organization.
- Candidate must be enrolled in an advanced degree program if graduating before July 2025
- Candidate must be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week from July - December 2025.
