Responsibilities

Material Handling and Receiving:
- Physically receive and inspect incoming materials, components, and other supplies, ensuring accuracy and its current condition.
- Maintain records of receiving documentation for the company including will call, and delivery orders.
- Organize and maintain a well-kept inventory area while following best practices for inventory control and management.
- Utilize various equipment for material handling duties such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment to transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Inventory Control and Management:
- Conduct inventory cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels, report discrepancies.
- Organize and label various materials, components, and other supplies by category.
- Gather, prepare, and issue materials, components, and other supplies to internal stakeholders as requested while demonstrating best inventory control and management practices
- Returns Management:
- Physically manage returns including repackaging of materials, components, and other supplies according to company guidelines.
- Evaluate items needed for return in accordance with supplier policy.
- Document returns and maintain records for data and cost analysis.
- Shipping:
- Arrange shipments for the company ranging from small packages to pallets of materials, components, and other supplies by utilizing everyday shipping options and/or 3PL when necessary.
- Palletize and/or package appropriately for shipment. Transporting and/or scheduling pick up when items are ready for shipping.
- Document shipping requirements and maintain records for data and cost analysis.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols while completing job duties.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or incidents promptly.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations related to job responsibilities.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED with 1 year job related experience.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Experience as a Material Handler or Warehouse Lead in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with equipment like forklift, pallet jack, carts, etc.
- Skills with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) and ERP systems, specifically with NetSuite.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently with supervision.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to regularly stand, walk, climb, and sit for extended periods throughout shift. Other physical demands include reaching overhead and below shoulder level and bending at the knees frequently.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as it relates to the job duties
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment during seasonal temperatures.

We are looking to hire a self-driven, well organized Inventory Control Specialist I to support the production of the MyLand Systems, utilized by our partners to increase soil health and productivity. This role will perform tasks and provide services to support the organization’s production goals, overall business plans, and objectives as directed.
This full-time, hourly position will be held in and report to the Procurement Manager in our main office, located in Phoenix, AZ
