Our newly established shop is equipped with state-of-the-art tools and a brand-new paint booth , providing the perfect environment for experienced professionals to excel.
Position Overview :
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced body shop technician who specializes in fiberglass repair and painting for heavy-duty trucks and equipment. This role requires a technician who can confidently perform bodywork, including repairs on fiberglass, metal, and plastic components , as well as prep and paint jobs with precision. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, maintain a strong work ethic, and strive for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform fiberglass repair, panel replacement, and structural body repairs on big rigs and heavy-duty vehicles
- Sand, prime, and prep vehicles for paint application
- Apply paint using professional techniques to achieve a high-quality finish
- Inspect and assess body damage, recommending appropriate repair solutions
- Maintain and operate shop equipment, ensuring a clean and organized workspace
- Work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless repair processes
