What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Duty Diesel Technician position at Myles Companies?
- Minimum of experience in replacing brakes & PM services.
- Prefer knowledge in fault diagnostics, A/C systems, brake systems, emission systems, air systems, and diagnostics/troubleshooting of diesel engines and trailer assemblies.
- Accurately complete all paperwork including repair information on work orders, information for state inspections, etc.
- Dedication and adherence to all company and industry safety standards.
- Diesel repair and maintenance experience in heavy truck / DOT compliance.
- Factory-trained certifications are preferred.
- Ability to get to work on time, read and write English, lift to 60lbs.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to find the source of problems.
- Work with hand tools, precision, and other equipment.
- Prefer a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma/GED preferred.
- Possess own tools to perform work on all systems on diesel equipment.
- Basic computer skills with the ability to use diagnostic programs & work order software.
- Must be able to pass a background check and MVR check.
