Myles Truck Repair is seeking experienced Roadside Diesel Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with roadside repairs and general diesel engine diagnostics and repairs. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled technicians to join a growing company and provide high-quality service on the road.
With two new units added to our fleet, comes needing new Road Technicians!
Shift: (Day / Night)
Monday - Friday 12 PM - 12 AM , Every other weekend. (On call as needed)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform roadside diesel repairs, including engine diagnostics, tire changes, and electrical system troubleshooting.
- Work independently to assess and resolve mechanical issues in a timely manner.
- Safely operate repair equipment and tools while ensuring proper safety measures are followed.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch to report service updates and job completion.
- Provide excellent customer service to drivers, ensuring minimal downtime for vehicles.
- Maintain detailed records of services performed, parts used, and any additional recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in roadside diesel repairs.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and general vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in roadside conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Flexibility to work either the day or night shift.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
