Myles Wrecker Service is seeking a skilled and experienced Lowboy/RGN Driver to join our team. This position requires a Class A CDL, prior heavy hauling experience, and familiarity with 18-speed transmissions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting oversized and heavy equipment, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent customer service.
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH 490s
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate Lowboy or RGN equipment to transport heavy and oversized loads.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Ensure proper loading, securing, and unloading of cargo.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients to coordinate deliveries and pickup schedules.
- Comply with all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, including logs and delivery details.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of heavy hauling experience, including operating Lowboy and RGN trailers.
- Proficient in driving and shifting an 18-speed transmission.
- Strong understanding of weight distribution, load securement, and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
